Like are they really going to charge me 1 Dollar for Sending a stupid Clover icon to my friend?
Oh man, facebook is too much..
Do u understand Facebook.com, PLEASE HELP ME, its urgent!!?
Facebook allows you to send a gift to a friend for 1 US dollar (real money). When you sign up, you get one free gift to give away. That's probably the one that you just sent. If you want to send more, you'll need to pay.
There's a new gift every day. Some are just for a limited time, or limited stock...
Hope that helped...
Reply:first of all, did you enter your credit card / paypal details? if you didn't give them your credit card / paypal details, then how are they going to charge you US$1. Most likely that was just facebook imaginerary money.
Reply:If you gave them payment information, then yes, they are. How do you think Mark Zuckerberg earned 1.5 billion dollars in 4 years? It's not all from advertising... It is really a brilliant marketing gimmick. Genius even. They post a digital picture of a bear or penguin or clover, tell people it is a limited edition and rare, and that it only costs $1 USD even. People, especially young students, eat that kind of stuff up. Those "gifts" are gone about as fast as they are posted. That's millions of dollars in revenue a day with little overhead!
Reply:You should add the free gifts application. Then you can send loads of gifts to your friends for free.
