It's a social networking site much like MySpace. You create a profile and can become friends with people that you know. It's a great way to keep in touch with friends from school when going off to college. You post pictures, send them messages, create groups, and can even schedule parties and invite people through Facebook. Just be careful not to put something that is too personal online.
