What do you think about facebook.com?

I thought i might be able to find one of my long lost friends.

What do you think about facebook.com?
It is a good site, I keep in touch with people from high school, college and work. You may be able to find some of your friends but you have to remember that not everyone has that website as their main social network. There are lots of social network websites out there.

Reply:There to many...community websites, as they call them. I mean theres myspace, facebook, my yearbook, gaia, teenspace,ect.


I like myspace.


On myspace I have found many people I haven't talked to in a long time.. I've made new friends too. I found it a good way to keep in contact with all my friends.

Reply:You might have better luck trying to locate them by conventional means like directory assistance or zaba, and then write or call to get their e-mail address.
Reply:I need to update my browser to get into my facebook account but I do like Facebook as opposed to myspace. However there are caveats with both. I don't think people realize that when you post pictures, audio files , likes , dislikes etc Facebook can use them in ads or to get advertisers to email you . It's in the privacy policy section.





Saw the young man who owns Facebook on 60 minutes on sunday, wow when I was 23 wish I had thought of something like Facebook, although pcs weren't really around when I was 23 LOL. I was too busy looking for a job to have any bright ideas at that point LOL.
Reply:That's excatly why it will always hold a place in my heart lol! I found a ton of old friends that I haven't seen in over ten years since school and it made an otherwise sh*tty 2007 something special. You need to boost the security settings but you get that. My mum has a profile too and keeps in touch with her friends around the world.

Reply:I like it but I find it very time consuming. So I had to keep it low and ignore all the offers for different types of entertainment. It's nice to keep in touch with my friends as most men and busy women don't like to write long emails.

Reply:Facebook and Myspace are generally for the younger set. I don't think many seniors can be found in either.

Reply:From what I saw yesterday I think it is immoral. Wonder what these girls lying around half naked and with their heads in the toilet will think in future years? If you're looking for a long lost friend on facebook you might look in the toilet!!!LOL!!
