how do u get or have a mutual or friend in common? im confused!! can anybody help me?

On facebook.com?
u add the same person that somebody else has on their friends list
Reply:if you confirm someone is your friend and someone else does too then you have a friend in common
Reply:A mutual friend is a friend in common.





Add the same person somebody on your list already has, and he/she will appear as mutual friend next time you access his/her profile page.

Reply:You and whoever's profile you are looking at must both be friends with the same person. Like, if you and Sally are both friends with Mike, then when you look at Sally's profile Mike will be listen under her 'Mutual Friends' section, and when she looks on yours, Mike will be listed under your 'Mutual Friends' section. =] Hope that makes sense!
Reply:If you accept an invite from a friend and in there profile there is a side pocket that has four things one is view friends, if you have a friend in common with that friend that you are already connected to than you can go through his friends list and add people you know by sending an invite, if they accept then they are added to your friends list. hope this helps.
Reply:Mutual friends are the people who are Facebook friends with both you and the person whose profile you are viewing. For instance, if you are friends with Chris, and Mark is friends with Chris, then Chris will be shown as a mutual friend when you are viewing Mark's profile.





You will never see mutual friends on your own profile page because you cannot have friends in common with yourself.
Reply:Pretty much anyone on your buddylist is your friend. If that friend (on your buddylist) has the same friend as you do, then automatically you have a mutual friend. lets say you know stephanie and tom. tom knows stephanie and adds her on facebook. you automatically have stephanie as a mutual friend :)
Reply:you are person A. you have friend who will be person B. and person B has a friend who is person C.





If person A and person C are both friends of person B, then in person's B profile the name of person C will appear as mutual friend.
