It is likely that your school is blocking access to the servers that host facebook. The user who suggested downloading Firefox onto a memory key, that will not work. No matter what browser you use, if the site is blocked at the edge of the network you'll be out of luck. The primary option you have is using an external proxy server, or one of the anonymous browsing services. You can google for them, and find one that works for you. Another option is connecting to your computer at home via Remote Desktop, and browsing via that computer. However it is likely that if your school network is locked down, they will also have blocked the RDP port (3389).
Reply:this is a good question that all nerd face. (not that you are a nerd) just download portable firefox onto a flash drive and bring it to school. that always works for me!
